Introduction

Graduates from Finance program are expected to apply their knowledge and skills to rationalize financial issues through all dimension and financial aspect either in the public or private institutions at the national or international levels. They are expected to hold a position as a financial executive in the financial or non-financial institutions and to perform an efficient financial consultation.

Admission Requirement

i) SPM A pass in SPM/equivalent and Credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Melayu (A pass with at least grade C in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Literature at STPM level can be accepted as a substitute for the credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Melayu at SPM level) A pass in English and Credit in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics( A pass in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and credit in Principal of Accounting/Elementary Economics/Commerce at SPM level can be accepted as a substitute for the credit in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics) or

ii) STPM Pass at one sitting of the STPM examination with at least; Grade C in Pengajian Am/Kertas Am and; Grade C in two other subjects or

iii) DIPLOMA Possesses Diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government and accredited by the UUM senate; and

iv) Taken the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Introduction

Graduates from IT program can work as programmer analysts, systems analysts, systems integrators, MIS specialists, database administrators, management consultants, software engineers, systems analysts, project managers, software programmers, IT consultants, Knowledge Technologists, IT Technical Analysts, Data Managers in addition to software engineers, programmers and project managers and etc.

Kelayakan Kemasukan

i) SPM A pass in SPM/equivalent and Credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Melayu (A pass with at least grade C in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Literature at STPM level can be accepted as a substitute for the credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Melayu at SPM level) A pass in English and Credit in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics( A pass in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and credit in Principal of Accounting/Elementary Economics/Commerce at SPM level can be accepted as a substitute for the credit in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics) or

iii) STAM Pass at one sitting of the STAM examination with at least 'Jayyid' or

iv) GCE At least three (3) principal passes in the General Certificate of Education 'Advanced Level' (GCE) 'A' Level Examination (UK Educational System) obtained at one sitting or

v) DIPLOMA Possesses Diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government and accredited by the UUM senate; and

vi) Taken the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

The International Islamic College

The International Islamic College or in short, IIC, has taken its root ten years ago, which is, in turn owned by IIUM, as a gateway to the knowledge and erudition, IIC is a full subsidiary of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Holdings Sdn Bhd. IIC purports or serves to educate, train and impart noble values to young men and women who aspire, who wish, who hope to be the next generation of professionals and leaders.Under the Education Act 1996, a private college cannot be formed as a company but rather to have a managing company to own and to run the said college. Thence, in order to meet the requirements of the said Education Act 1996, a company known as Intelmatics Sdn Bhd with its registered address at Lot 6.1, Tingkat 6, Pertama Complex, Jalan Tuanku Abd Rahman, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, was formed or established on the 29th of March 2000 so as to be the managing company for International Islamic College (IIC). However, the 52nd Board of Directors’ Meeting of IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd dated 19th of September 2007 had changed IIUM Education Sdn Bhd and divided it IIUM Higher Education Sdn Bhd (which comprises International Islamic College); and IIUM Lower Education Sdn Bhd (which consists of International Islamic School Primary and Secondary, Sekolah Taman Ilmu & Budi Primary and Secondary as well as IIUM Montessori). Whereby each company is a separate entity, standing on its own and having its own management structure. Ever since its inauguration, IIC has witnessed immense, noteworthy, remarkable growth. From a small-romanticcoloured building in Jalan Gombak to the currently larger, strong, vibrantly-coloured campus in Taman Batu Muda, IIC provides a diversity, miscellany environment for its students irregardless of their age, colour or even race or country. In spite of the ‘Islamic’ labeling, IIC has a lot of non-Muslims students, local and international, registering for the various courses offered, whom are able to blend in and mix very well with their Muslim friends and other course mates. IIC’s unique, distinctive educational methods of inter - twining both the revealed knowledge and acquired knowledge complement the very much – needed edification or education for the students so that they are able to stick to their guns, to have a firm stand, stance and belief in the pursuit of success in spite of challenges or obstacles; thus making it an educational-business thriving institution.

Di Mana Peluang Anda Menyambung Pendidikan Jika gagal ke Universiti Awam?

Salam Sejahtera,
agak lama saya tidak menulis di blog ini. Anda mungkin tertanya-tanya, atau tidak peduli pun samada saya menulis atau tidak. Sebenarnya saya seang menumpukan kepada pembinaan laman Web kumpulan. Laman web Kumpulan koleksiminda.com. Kumpulan laman kami telah dilancarkan dan aktif khususnya bagi membantu para pelajar mendapatkan maklumat peluang belajar selepas SPM.

Saya yakin bahawa hanya lebih kurang 20% sahaja pelajar lepasan SPM setiap tahun yang berjaya ke Universiti Awam. Selebihnya ke mana?. Adakah anda terperap di rumah, bekerja di kilang, kedai, supermarket atau berhenti belajar begitu sahaja.

Sebenarnya tiada siapa pun yang memaksa anda terus belajar. Ia pilihan anda. Pun begitu, pandangan saya, jika anda berhenti sekadar memiliki SPM maka anda sebenarnya gagal mengambil peluang yang terbuka luas yang diwujudkan oleh kerajaan.

Peluang melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat yang lebih tinggi sentiasa terbuka, cuma menanti anda sahaja.
